Brick threw glass is a Movie review website hosted by film critic Matt Willey. Brick threw glass is a metaphor I made up for film, the BRICK is the anamorphic shot blocking, and GLASS is the camera lens , the word THREW is a play on words, should have been thru but, I used the words THREW. This website reviews and critics films in a different way, using humor it also tries to interject some of my technical knowledge of how films are created and made into the process.

This is how this movie review website works; we have a 4 star movie review rating system for films and DVDs and BLU-ray disks with 4 out of 4 stars the best and one stars being really bad. We have added the 3.5 and 2.5 into our movie review ratings to make this website a little deeper and Adding to the the readers enjoyment ... More about our 4 STAR MOVIE REVIEW SYSTEM

Harry Potter and the half-blood prince : movie review . So here we have the new installment of the Harry Potter Series and it’s got a different take on the stories of a young sorcerer and his adventures at Hogwarts castle. The wizard Dumbledore instructs Harry Potter to develop a friendship with Slughorn a returning professor in order to learn of which Dark Art that Tom Riddle—Voldemort's name while a student at Hogwarts,is using presently: Voldemort is the wizard who killed Harry’s parents in the previous films. Severus Snape enters into an Unbreakable Vow with a fellow student Draco Malfoy's mother, Narcissa, assuring that Snape will protect Draco and complete the task Voldemort has assigned to Draco should the boy fail. This story tries to deal with the cast getting older and takes the Characters into a new realm with them dating, which I guess is a topic that was been kind of steered away from in the past. This film has some really state of the art effects and one very interesting scene involves fire and without giving to much away is very intense. From the opening scenes you know this is something special with the bad guys flying thought London and overturning the pedestrian bridge on the river Themes. Yes the cast has grown up a bit and the story is very complex, but this is a really good film, a finely crafted piece of art with no detail left untouched. I really want to mention that the Director David Yates did a seamless job with the story , and both Cinematographer Bruno Delbonnel and Editor Mark Day really gave us a very fine and well crafted film to watch… ![]()
